Fambot is built by overstretched parents who’ve created beloved products at:

Founding Marketer - Social & Community Lead

Full-time or Part-time (20–30 hrs/week) - San Francisco (preferred), but remote also an option

About Fambot

Fambot is your family’s proactive AI assistant. Fambot scours your inboxes, calendars, group chats, and apps to surface what parents need to know, do, and decide each day. Fambot sees around corners and predicts your needs so that you are always prepared for whatever’s next.

By combining the superintelligence of AI with the love of a labrador, Fambot takes on the busy work—like researching summer camps, coordinating carpools, and signing up for swim class—so you can achieve the clarity and confidence you’ve always wanted.

The Role

You'll be our first dedicated marketer, owning organic growth end-to-end: social, content, community, creator partnerships, and grassroots outreach.

This is a maker role, not a manager role. You'll be hands on keyboard, creating content, in the DMs, and in the PTA Facebook groups - not delegating the work. You'll report to the CEO, work directly with the founders, and partner with our growth marketer (who owns paid spend).

What you'll do

  1. Social and content
    -
Own Fambot's presence on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts at launch; expand to LinkedIn, X, and Facebook as capacity allows
    - Plan, create, film, edit, and publish short-form video, stills, and stories
    - Write captions and hooks that sound like a parent, not a brandBuild 3–5 recurring content series that compound over time
    - Turn parent pain points — email chaos, last-minute surprises, mental load — into content that makes people say "this is me"
    -
Optimize for the signals that matter: saves, shares, comments, DMs, and signups
  2. Community and grassroots
    -
Show up where parents already are: PTAs, school communities, parent Facebook groups, local networks
    - Build a playbook for helpful, non-spammy community participation
    - Drive school-to-school word of mouth and grassroots referral loops
    - Seed and nurture early Fambot community spaces
  3. Creator and influencer partnerships
    -
Identify parent creators and micro-influencers who fit Fambot naturally
    - Run outreach, briefing, and follow-through — make it easy for creators to participate
    - Co-create content that feels native and credible, not like an ad
    - Build a repeatable pipeline and track performance
    - Partner with growth to repurpose top-performing content into paidBuild Repeatable Content Series
  4. Everything else marketing touches
    - Positioning, messaging, launches, partnerships, and lifecycle — you'll weigh in and often lead
    - Scope will flex as we grow the team

Who You Are

  • You've made things that start conversations, get likes, saves, or shares

  • You have strong taste and move fast — good at hooks, pacing, and editing
  • You understand parent communities and know how to participate respectfully
  • You self-manage, thrive in zero-to-one, and don't need a playbook to get started

Nice to Have

  • Comfort and presence on camera
  • Experience marketing to parents, in education, or for consumer brands
  • Experience managing creator partnerships, affiliate programs, or whitelisting
  • Community building or moderation experience
  • AI Native + basic design skills (Canva, Figma)

Logistics

  • Location: San Francisco or remote (must overlap with Pacific time)
  • Type: Full-time or part-time (∼20–30 hours/week)
