Founding Social Marketer and Community Lead

Full-time or Part-time (20–30 hrs/week)

About Fambot

Fambot is your family’s proactive AI assistant. Fambot scours your inboxes, calendars, group chats, and apps to surface what parents need to know, do, and decide each day. Fambot sees around corners and predicts your needs so that you are always prepared for whatever’s next.

By combining the superintelligence of AI with the love of a labrador, Fambot takes on the busy work—like researching summer camps, coordinating carpools, and signing up for swim class—so you can achieve the clarity and confidence you’ve always wanted.

Fambot is built by overstretched parents who’ve created beloved products at Uber, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn. This is a unique opportunity to join an impactful, well-funded startup on the ground floor and help define a new category: proactive AI for family life.

The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Social Marketer and Community Lead to build Fambot’s organic engine from the ground up. You will own our social channels end-to-end: create and publish content across platforms, engage with parents in comments and DMs, run creator partnerships, and lead community and grassroots outreach.

Your focus is organic, community, and creator-driven distribution -plus partnering with paid by supplying winning creative and insights, working in partnership with our growth marketer.

Important: This role requires you to be comfortable and confident on camera. A meaningful portion of the content you create will feature you as the creator, not just the company. If you love being in front of a lens, this role is for you. Team

Team context: You'll work directly with the founders and alongside our growth marketer, who handles paid spend. You’ll be our first dedicated social hire, reporting directly to the CEO.

This role can be full-time or part-time (approximately 20–30 hours per week for part-time), based in San Francisco or remote (must overlap with Pacific time).

Channel Focus and Expectations

Priority channels (where we’ll go deep at launch): Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Stretch channels (build over time as capacity allows): LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.

You’ll run engagement daily on priority channels. Focus is marketing and community engagement, with light inbound support and clear escalation rules.

What you'll do

  1. Run Fambot's Social Channels
    - Own the day-to-day operation of our social presence: content calendar, publishing cadence, cross-posting, and channel hygiene
    - Write captions and hooks that feel like a parent, not a brand
    - Respond to comments and DMs daily to build trust, answer questions, and convert high-intent parents
    - Light moderation and community management: keep conversations healthy, helpful, and on-brand
    - Surface insights: what parents are asking, what’s resonating, what’s confusing, what to try next
  2. Create Content
    - Create, film, edit, and publish short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) plus stills, stories, and occasional longer posts
    - Be on camera regularly - some content will feature you as the creator, not just the company
    - Turn parent pain points into fun and humorous content that resonates: school email chaos, last-minute surprises, logistics overload, mental load
    - Turn product moments into stories: “caught this just in time”, “before vs after”, “what I missed before Fambot”
    - Build a simple production system so we can ship consistently without burning out (batching, templates, series formats)
  3. Build Repeatable Content Series
    - Develop 3–5 recurring series that become our backbone and make planning easy
    - Test hooks, formats, and angles quickly—then double down on winners
    - Optimize for the signals that matter: saves, shares, comments, DMs, click-through, and signups
  4. Creator and Influencer Partnerships
    - Identify parent creators and micro-influencers who are a natural fit for Fambot
    - Run outreach, coordination, briefing, and follow-through (make it easy for creators to participate)
    - Co-create content that feels native and credible, not like ads
    - Build a repeatable pipeline and track performance
    - Partner with our paid growth support to repurpose top creator/organic content into ads (they run spend, you drive creative and learnings)
  5. Community and Grassroots Outreach
    - Show up where parents already are: school communities, PTAs, extracurricular groups, Facebook groups, local parent networks, parent support groups
    - Build a playbook for participating in communities in a helpful, non-spammy way
    - Create grassroots loops that drive referrals and school-to-school word of mouth
    - Help seed and nurture early Fambot community spaces (wherever we host them)

Engagement and Inbound Support

  • Priority is marketing and community engagement: answer questions, build relationships, and guide parents toward signup
  • Handle simple inbound questions when you can (what Fambot is, how it works, basic setup guidance)
  • Escalate anything account-specific, privacy-related, billing-related, or product-critical to the team with context

Who You Are

  • You can run social like an operator and create like a creator
  • You are comfortable and confident on camera - you can be warm, funny, and credible
  • You have strong taste and can edit fast (pacing, captions, structure, hooks). You know how to engage without sounding like a brand, and you have good judgment in DMs and comment threads
  • You understand parent communities and how to participate respectfully
  • You move fast, self-manage, and are excited by zero-to-one

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing to parents, education, or for other consumer brands
  • You’ve managed creator partnerships, affiliate/referral programs, or whitelisting
  • You’ve built or moderated communities
  • Basic design skills (Canva/Figma) and lightweight templates

Logistics

  • Location: San Francisco or remote (must overlap with Pacific time)
  • Type: Full-time or part-time (∼20–30 hours/week)

How to Apply

Email us at careers@fambto.ai with:
  • A short note (5–10 sentences) on why you’re a fit for this role
  • Links to 3–5 pieces of content you’ve created—at least one must be a short-form video where you are on camera
  • Optional: Create a loom or other video of you promoting the Fambot service in a 60 or 90 second TikTok style post
