Fambot is built by parents, for parents. We use it ourselves, and we’re obsessive about keeping your family’s information safe.

Trust and safety isn’t a policy page for us - it’s a product requirement. The goal is simple: help you stay on top of family life without creating new risk.

Here’s how we protect your data, in plain English.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• AI providers are not permitted to train on your data.
• You stay in control - connect, disconnect, and delete anytime. If you request deletion, we remove your data from our active systems within a few days.

We use this access to find the family-related information hiding in plain sight - schedule changes, deadlines, sign-ups, school newsletters, soccer schedules, reminders, what to bring, where to be - and turn it into a daily plan you can actually use.

Fambot will connect to more services over time, but the same rules will apply.

• We never send emails on your behalf without express permission.
• We never change your calendar without your permission.

• We identify which emails are family-related so we can focus exclusively on those.
• We store extracted, structured information (like key dates, tasks, and event details) and the outputs we generate (like your digest), so the product works.
• To generate summaries and action items, we may send the full email body text only for emails we identify as family-related to an AI model provider for processing. Our providers are not permitted to train on your data. We use this only to create your digest and action items - not for advertising.

Fambot uses AI to turn information into action items, events and summaries.

We use vetted service providers to operate Fambot (hosting, analytics, communications, and AI providers). Some of these vendors process data on our behalf so the product works.

For SMS, we use Twilio.

We contractually limit what vendors can do with your data, and we do not allow them to use it for their own purposes.

We’ve invested heavily in security from day one. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, we use secure OAuth connections (we don’t store your Google password), and we tightly control internal access. We monitor systems for abuse and continuously harden our security as we scale.

• You can disconnect at any time.
• If you disconnect or request deletion, we remove your data from our active systems quickly (typically within a few days).

To request deletion, email us at support@fambot.ai - we’re nice folks and happy to help.

Our Privacy Policy also explains that some information may be retained for a limited period for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons (and backups can take time to fully cycle out).

Fambot may send service-related messages by email or SMS, based on what you enable. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
