Using Fambot on the web app vs. the iOS/Android app
The short version
Fambot is available as an iOS/Android app and as a full web app at fambot.com that works in any modern mobile or desktop browser. Changes you make in one sync to the other, since both read from the same account. If you notice something that isn't syncing — like events or digest content showing up on one but not the other — that's a bug worth reporting, not expected behavior.
Which one should I use?
Both are fully functional. Some people find the web version easier for certain tasks, especially on days when they're at a computer anyway. Others prefer the app for on-the-go use. There's no wrong choice — use whichever fits the moment.
If content isn't showing up consistently between the two
This is not expected — data should reflect the same underlying account on both. If you notice:
- Events or actions missing on one platform but present on the other,
- The app appearing to show no data at all despite Fambot having scanned successfully, or
- A visual glitch (like a hidden icon or overlapping element)
Send a debug screenshot along with what you expected to see vs. what actually showed up. This helps us reproduce the issue quickly rather than guessing.
