Viewing the source of a to-do in your Daily Digest

The short version

Every to-do in your Daily Digest has a Source label at the bottom, like "Source: George's Gmail." Tap it and Fambot shows you the original email that to-do came from, so you can see exactly what it was based on.

Tapping a to-do's source to see the original email

How to view the source

  1. Open your Daily Digest and find the to-do you want to check.
  2. Tap the Source label at the bottom of the to-do.
  3. A Source Info panel slides up. At the top you'll see who the email was from, the date it was sent, and the subject line.
  4. Scroll down to read the original email.
  5. Swipe down on the panel to close it and go back to your digest.

Why this is useful

Fambot reads your emails, newsletters, and calendars and boils them down into short to-dos. When you want the full picture — the exact time, a link, a form, or who it came from — the source is the fastest way to check. It also tells you which connected account a to-do came from, which helps if you've connected more than one inbox.

If something looks off

If a to-do doesn't match the original email, tap the 3 dot menu on the to-do to edit it, mute the sender, or delete it. If it's a bigger accuracy problem, email support@fambot.com with a screenshot and we'll take a look.
