Family logistics arrive everywhere: school emails, newsletters, calendars, sports apps, PDFs, flyers, and group chats. Parents have to read everything, decide what matters, copy details into the right tool, and remember what needs to happen next. That work happens between meetings, at pickup, and late at night while everyone else is asleep.

Fambot co-founder and CEO David Reich knows the feeling. In a recent TechCrunch interview, he said, "I have three kids and am constantly struggling between doing all these executive jobs." He described spending an hour catching up on 40 emails instead of spending time with his children. David teamed up with former Instagram engineer Greg Karlin and former Google and LinkedIn designer Jason Morrow to solve this problem.

Fambot handles the sorting work

Families connect their email and calendar accounts, then add family context. Fambot looks for family-related details and turns them into calendar events, to-dos, reminders, follow-up questions, and a daily digest text with what parents need to know, do, and decide.

Parents can ask questions by text, email, or in the app. They don't have to forward every message or enter every date by hand. Fambot finds the details first, then helps turn them into a plan.

That proactivity is what sets Fambot apart from other AI assistants. A prompt-first assistant waits for someone to upload the flyer or ask the right question. Fambot is built to find the important details busy families miss.

Reich described the larger goal to TechCrunch: "We know what you're going to face before you do sometimes, so that you can be prepared for it."

Fambot is currently free during beta on iOS, Android, and the web. It uses OAuth connections instead of stored email or calendar passwords, and Fambot says its AI providers don't train on user data.
